11th Annual: LPBC Polar Plunge
Beautiful weather, a ton of money raised and a record breaking crowd - it was our best Plunge yet. With the hot chocolate being served by the Salvation Army and 103.5KISS FM providing a little extra entertainment, the atmosphere at the beach was crazy and the adrenaline was flowing. There were plenty of costumes and some revealing swimsuits (both good and bad) and there are plenty of photos as proof - check them out on our Facebook page.
Polar Bears = 597 (new record)
Total Money Raised = $28,235
We want to thank all of our sponsors, everyone who participated in the swim, all the donors, and the volunteers. The Plunge was a huge success and it took everyone involved for it all to come together.
Thank you all for joining us in the insanity and we hope to see you all at next year's 12th Annual Charity Plunge.
The Families
We received many heartbreaking nominees for this year's fundraising efforts, but unfortunately we could only pick 2. Please check out the 2012 Families link and read about the Brya family and Katie Kline. These are two very deserving families that your donations will support. We appreciate everyone's kindness and generosity.
