First of all, I would like to thank everyone who came out to support us. You all made us feel like the rock stars that we obviously are.

This year's swim was a definite success.  We have three founding members of the Simply B's Nuts Polar Bear Club:  Steve Chambers, Nick Schumacher, and Brian Marchal.  I would like to give my respect to Steve and Nick for actually going through with it.  Neither of them really wanted to, but with enough idle threats and swearing I got them both in the water.

This is just the beginning.  We will be doing this for years and years and this will become the premier Polar Bear Club in Chicago.  We are looking for as many people as possible - the more the merrier.  For anyone interested in joining, please contact Brian Marchal.  For information concerning next year's event, please check out the LPBC homepage.
